Hill Climb at Hanson Hills

I had a mission to climb high enough to get a good view of the surrounding area.  I found Hanson Hills in Grayling, Michigan and it looked interesting.  So I packed up my Freedom Trax in the back of my Jeep Wrangler and headed for the hills.

I first went to the cross country and hiking trails.  They were a little narrow, so I changed course and went for the ski hill.  The climb took me through sand, grass, and even some wood chips.  The view from the top was spectacular.  The downhill was a challenge.  Even with Freedom Trax set at the slowest setting, it still tipped on the way down.  If you are going to try this, make sure you are very experienced with your Freedom Trax and have a support person.  It doesn’t take much effort for your support person to keep Freedom Trax from tipping forward on the way down.

This is a really nice area.  With a maual wheelchair or a power chair, there isn’t a lot that is accessible.  With Freedom Trax, there is a lot that you can explore.  Contact Freedom Trax International for your free demo today.
